MSC Cruises busca un técnico de riego para su isla privada (Ocean Cay, Bahamas). Vas a operar y mantener todos los sistemas de riego y drenaje: riego de césped y plantas, monitoreo de uso de agua, reparación de tuberías y válvulas, mantenimiento preventivo, registros de equipos. Piden experiencia en paisajismo o campos de golf, conocimiento de electricidad e hidráulica básica, sistemas Rainbird preferentemente, y inglés fluido. Ofrecen alojamiento en la isla (posición full-time residente).

Your Purpose Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all irrigation and drainage systems on the island and grounds. This role is based on MSC's island reserve, Ocean Cay. Staff accommodation provided. Your Impact Watering lawns, palms and flower beds and other areas as needed or scheduled. Monitors daily water usage and informs Maintenance Engineer of any needed adjustments to the irrigation water usage and computer settings. Operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water. Designs, implements and maintains mechanical and electrical components of island irrigation system. Repairs equipment associated with irrigation (i.e., irrigation pipes and irrigation heads valves etc.). Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment associated with irrigation. Maintains complete records on all equipment maintenance associated with irrigation. Controls expenses associated with irrigation equipment and activities. Maintains inventory and ordering of parts needed for irrigation equipment. Performs all record-keeping relative to irrigation system including weather and rainfall data; assists in recording fertilizer and pesticide applications.
